WELCOME
My name is Alex Aufderklamm and I’m an Italian artist, creative explorer, dancer, model and circus performer specialized in Flying Pole.
I like to think of every moment of creation as a conception, of which a thinking being can be either an author or an intermediary. Feeling inspired by what resonates instinctively within and touches a deep, primordial space… I embrace extravagant and challenging creative ideas within visual and performing arts, especially among circus, dance and theatre.
ARTISTS’ PATH
I began dancing when I was a child, facing different styles such as ballet, modern and contemporary dance. As a teenager I ventured into pole sports and in the years ahead I participated in several IPSF world championships, reaching the podium in Canada, Spain and the Netherlands.
In 2020 I embarked on a journey into the circus world by enrolling in a two-year training program at the Accademia Cirko Vertigo in Turin, followed by the completion, in 2025, of a Bachelor’s Degree in Circus Arts DAMS (Disciplines of Arts, Music and Performance), conferred with honours, with a final dissertation on site-sensitive representations. In parallel, I have been furthering my professional development at the National Circus School of Montréal, where I will be graduating in June 2026 after four years dedicated to refining the unique and dynamic FLYING POLE 2.0 style.
Throughout the years, I had the pleasure to take part as a solo artist in several national-level productions, including Cirko Vertigo’s “Cinema e Circo: una lunga storia d’amore” at Turin’s National Cinema Museum (Mole Antonelliana), TEDxBrixen 2022 at the Astra theatre, Miss Italia Trentino Alto-Adige beauty contests, as well as the TV shows Game of Talents and Amici di Maria de Filippi.
HOMELAND PRODUCTIONS
In 2023 I founded the creative enterprise HOMELAND PRODUCTIONS, with the idea of exploring both circus arts and the human experience.
That same year, we released our debut project Homeland – a new Guinness World Record, a short film produced in collaboration with Carezza Dolomites, blending natural landscapes, live music, performing arts, and a world-record aerial pole act performed 139.26 meters above the ground, in the heart of the UNESCO Dolomites.
WHAT’S NEXT?
I am open to work individually (internationally) or through Homeland Productions (Italy based) in developing small to mid-scale projects/creations. Also available for collaborations as dancer and flying pole artist, as well as a creative mind within an artistic team, and receptive to apprenticeship roles in larger productions.
