My name is Alex Aufderklamm and I’m an Italian artist, creative explorer, dancer, model and circus performer specialized in Flying Pole.

I began dancing when I was a child, facing different styles such as ballet, modern and contemporary dance. As a teenager I ventured into pole sports and in the years ahead I participated in several IPSF world championships, reaching the podium in Canada, Spain and the Netherlands.

In 2020 I embarked on a journey into the circus world by enrolling in a two-year training program at the Accademia Cirko Vertigo in Turin, followed by the completion, in 2025, of a Bachelor’s Degree in Circus Arts DAMS (Disciplines of Arts, Music and Performance), conferred with honours, with a final dissertation on site-sensitive representations. In parallel, I have been furthering my professional development at the National Circus School of Montréal, where I will be graduating in June 2026 after four years dedicated to refining the unique and dynamic FLYING POLE 2.0 style.
